The Variants

The Spider Europa (or Azzurra as it was know in North America) unlike earlier versions of the 124 Spider, were built entirely by Pininfarina and badged as Pininfarina cars and not Fiat (though the mechanicals continued to be supplied by Fiat).

I don't know how many variants of the Pininfarina Spider Europa were officially produced but 3 can be easily differentiated; North American variant, European variant and Volumex variant. While the Spider Volumex was only produced based on the European variant there is, in my opinion, enough difference to warrant calling it a separate variant.
